2019 Third Anniversary Low Country Boil

2018 December First Thursday Potluck

See the happy, smiling faces, and the fun we had at our Christmas potluck lunch.  Tom Bouknecht, played wondrous Christmas music as we finished our dessert.  Then he made us laugh with some humorous lyrics to a well-known Christmas song, "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas".  After his performance,  Tom coaxed us into singing some carols.  Tom roasted our Executive Director, Jack Eisenman, with a few jokes as we honored him for his retirement at the end of this month. The Threadworks Group leader, Valerie Hayes, presented Jack with a beautiful hand-made crocheted afghan which all the members of the group had some part of its creation.  Four punch card gift certificates from the Center were given out with an additional one being a $75 gift certificate to Sports Authority.  The food and desserts were incredible...spiral ham, spaghetti, and meatballs, stew, salads, bread, and vegetable dishes of all kinds plus delectable desserts.
